Week 1

I have looked at blogs in the past, but this is my first attempt at one. Right now, I don't seea need for me to have a blog. I currently have a delicious account with I use frequently. I am comfortable with delicious so I don't see this as a forum for me to organize my links. I have a facebook page, although it is personal and I do not use it for school use. I use my facebook page to really post about the things that are on my mind.

Right now, I don't see the need to get my thoughts out and published online. I'm so very cautious about what information I have out in cyberspace because once it's there, it's never gone. I don;t want something I post in anger or when my mind is not 100% clear to come back and bite me in the butt; I do enough things that get me into trouble without the help of technology. I will try to keep an open mind and see where this thing goes. That's why I named this blog "Z's Journey".

I currently have an account with Edmodo.com. Edmodo is formatted to look very similiar to facebook. I tried to implement the usage of edmodo into my class, but that never really took off. I have 3 out of my 60 students sign into it. I also have tried to use edmodo to communicate with the senior class parents as I am the senior class advisor for Shaw. So far, it hasn't really caught on yet either.
